Walking on the Weir

A Dusky Moorhen wading very close to the weir cascade in the Queanbeyan River. The late afternoon light has created stunning reflections on the water surface resulting in a very painterly image. The fast motion of the water is evident as it passes by the bird and cascaded over the wall on the left.
