Satin Bower Bird performs#1

A male Satin Bower Bird in its courting ritual with a blue milk bottle cap while a juvenile male (green on right) displays a complete lack of interest. They collect blue items to decorate their bower to attract the female for mating. These days its quicker and easier to collect man-made plastic items than trying to find the traditional seeds, fruits and parrot feathers.
